At Computex 2016, Asus have released the Asus ZenBook 3, which is one of the sleekest laptops out now, coming in at 11.9mm. At this size, it is thinner than the Apple’s MacBook, which is amazing. As this laptop is so thin, it weighs a mere 910g and allows for portability at its finest. Despite being so thin, the laptop is still strong as it uses aerospace-grade aluminium alloy, which is stronger than other laptops that use standard alloy, and this is great to see. Even though the chassis on the laptop is really sleek, the battery life lasts 9 hours, and to compromise for the battery life, the laptop can charge to 60% in just 49 minutes using fast charge technology just like you would find in some Qualcomm smartphones.

The ZenBook 3 features an Intel Core i7, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, an SSD of up to 1TB and a SINGLE USB-C port. The laptop features quad speaker audio made by Harman-Kardon, that are powerful and are said to sound great. With such a sleek design, the screen of the ZenBook 3 is 12.5 inches and coated in gorilla glass to prevent it from scratching. The screen features a 72% NTSC color gamut, which allows for good color reproduction. The company states that the body to screen ratio is the highest so far in their laptops, with a ratio of 82%. The cooling of the laptop is achieved by just using a 3mm fan, so that the performance is at its highest.

The keyboard of the ZenBook is full-size and back-lit, to enable use at night with no problems of seeing the keys. The touch pad of the laptop itself is glass-covered and allows for amazing features such as palm-rejection technology, smart gestures to use the laptop with ease, and even the ability to use handwriting to type. The laptop also has a built in fingerprint reader which works with Windows Hello, and means that you do not need to enter in passwords to log in to your laptop.

The Asus ZenBook 3 will soon be available in three colors – Royal Blue, Rose Gold and Quartz Grey – for $1,999, which is for the maximum specifications and the price will vary depending on specifications. It seems like an amazing laptop, and will be available in Q3.
