So you just got your new Samsung Galaxy S7 and you want some more battery life out of it. Well, Kevin has some tips and tricks to help you get even more battery life out of your S7.

The first thing Kevin suggests you do is get a darker theme, he likes the material design dark, but there is also a material black theme. Getting a darker theme will help because there will be less pixels being used on the device. Next, turning off smart stay will help you save even more battery life, this is a feature which keeps your phone on, when you are looking at the screen. Adaptive display is nice, but it still uses more power than the basic modes, and even though the basic modes don’t look the best it is guaranteed to help you save battery life. Last in the screen department, the always on display. It can drain some battery life as well, but Kevin really likes it so he leaves his on but it is just something to keep in mind.

Disabling apps you don’t use is another way of saving battery life, go through them one by one to see how it affects your system. Basically when an app is disabled it will no longer run in the background, Kevin goes over this more in the video.

When you are going to be away from your phone for a while, another helpful technique is turning on ‘Power Saving Mode’. This will turn off a lot of background stuff and will help your phone go into a deep sleep. When you are very low, Samsung has another feature called Ultra Power Saving mode, you will be very limited on what you can do, but at least your battery won’t be dead.

Last but certainly not least, turning off WiFi and Bluetooth when you are not using it can help tremendously.

These are some of the ways to get the most battery out of your S7, be sure to watch the video below to see everything Kevin suggest!
