Two years ago, on April the 23rd, at a time when flagships were ruling the market, a company released the OnePlus One, a phone that quickly gained popularity, but could only be bought through invites. It was an amazing phone, and also gained the company a lot of respect. However, last year, everyone had high expectations for the OnePlus Two, but it wasn’t what everyone expected, despite the fact it had an affordable price and some great specifications. This year they are back as OnePlus unveiled the phone that they have anticipating, the OnePlus 3. It is their first invite free phone, and an incredible phone that is up against flagships from Samsung and possibly even Apple soon.

With the OnePlus 3, we got a few rumors and they seem to be true, but we had not that much of a clue of its specifications other than the processor. This seems to be the Flagship Killer, as first stated with the OnePlus One and this is a monster of a phone, as this is the first phone with 6GB of RAM out on the market. This is the company’s best phone by far, with all these specifications, and such an affordable price of $399. However, other flagships come in at over $600.

The body of the OnePlus 3 is of a curved, anodized aluminum, that is made from a single piece of metal. It is light weighted at 158g and is quite slim coming in at 7.35mm. Specification wise, it contains a Snapdragon 820, 64GB of storage (as it has no micro SD slot), 3,000 mAh battery, a fingerprint scanner and a 13 megapixel camera. The display equips a 5.5 inch Full HD AMOLED display, which sport slim bezels, but is fine even though it is not QHD. Android 6.0.1 based OxygenOS can be found on the phone, out of the box, and it even has an unlocked bootloader. In order to stay with the new Android Pay, there is also NFC available.

To keep up with most flagships, there is a USB-C port, and the OnePlus 3 has support for Dash Charge, which accordingly charges the phone from 0 to 60 percent in just 30 minutes. This is even when you use the phone, and you can be guaranteed that the charger or phone will not overheat. For this feature to work, you have to use the wall plug that comes with the phone.

You can buy these phone online from the OnePlus device, and they also have pop-up stores available in a few cities so that you can get your hands on the phone straight away. We are expecting a lot from this device and hopefully you can find a review soon on our website.
