After a brief period of exclusivity in China, the Huawei Mate 8 has recently launched in many other countries. The Tech Ninja was able to swipe it and put the 6in phablet through the paces, and also test it against on of the reigning Android phone champs — the Nexus 6P.

The Mate 8 features a new Kirin 950 processor paired with (a possible) 4Gb of RAM and a 16MP rear camera sensor. It has an enormous 4,000mAh battery, supposedly lasting up to two days, and features the ability to expand its storage. The Nexus 6P fights back with a more detailed display, faster Android updates, and dual front facing speakers.
