Ring has just released a new doorbell which is a successor for the Ring Video Doorbell; it is the Ring Video Doorbell Pro. They have gone for a slightly new approach with this new doorbell as they have decided to go with a more slimmer design. This is much smaller than the first doorbell but packs much more in it.
There are some great new features that come with the Pro. First of all, there is a new 1080p camera (from a 720p camera) which allows the user to use the camera on the doorbell in much higher quality and allows the video to be much clearer. Something that will be very useful is the night vision in the doorbell, which is amazing as this allows you to use the doorbell at any time you wish without having to get out of your bed. Ring also has in-device advanced motion detection, which allows you to choose the areas that matter the most to you and make sure you get alerts for motions in those areas. They have also taken into consideration cloud storage for recording anything you capture from the Pro — this is great as no storage is taken on your phone.
With the new Ring Video Doorbell Pro, you have a new level of customization that allows you to change the doorbell face plate between 4 different colors that can be selected (shown above). Looking at these features, the Pro looks like an awesome doorbell to get, especially if you are coming from its predecessor. The doorbell is available for pre-order from Ring at $249 but with limited availability, so if you would like to buy one, then head to the link down below
