SpaceX is owned by the one and only Elon Musk — you know, the same guy that owns Tesla as well. SpaceX has been working on a rocket called the Falcon 9 for a very long time now. It can fly itself and return back to Earth, so that it could be used for multiple missions. Up until now, the flight tests have all been unsuccessful.
This idea of this is that it takes off and there is a storage pod that is separated and it goes to where it needs to go. The Falcon 9 Project has been developed and improved on for a very long time. It finally made its first successful landing on a Drone Ship on April 8, 2016. This was a very huge success for SpaceX, because now they know how to do it and can readily focus on improving the efficiency and such.
Elon Musk shared this video on his social media about the progress of The Falcon 9 in the last 4 years. Its really very impressive to see how far Falcon 9 Project has come in just the last few years.

It amazes me to see the progress in just the last 4 years and this just raises the question of where things will be in the next 4 year and more. We still have The Virgin Galactic which is the World’s first commercial spaceline. I am very excited to see whats to come in the future and let me know what you think will happen in the space industry in the coming future.
